Daxter & Metal Gear Acid 2 ISO troubles - NOT asking for dload links!

Okay - I admit, im a noob to this 1.5 stuff. However with MPH Game Loader (with 2.5 flash files) and UMD Emulator, I have had sucess running various ISOs on my 1.5 PSP. Howevr two games are giving me problems - I have searched the forums, but can find no solution.
1) Daxter (approx 430 mb rip) - I have downloaded THREE different isos of this and all do the same. I goto umd emulator, direct load game and get nothing but a blank screen. If I goto system menu, I see the daxter screen when on the UMD icon on the game menu, but if I launch -same thing, black screen. Trying to launch MPH after just switches the PSP off.
2) Metal Gear Acid 2 (I presume the USA version - have tried TWO different isos from torrents). Game is around 380mb ripped. Game launches and plays fine via umd emulator, but I cannot save it at all. When I go to save I see the grey screen with snake and venus (?) for maybe half a second, then it bounces back to whatever screen/menu I was at before - not giving me a chance to save. I cant imagine trying to complete acid2 using sleep mode.
Any solutions?

I dont know Metal Gear Acid 2 as iv never played it. However, here are the instrucaton for Daxter:
iSO goes into ISO folder in root.
Open iSO with umdemu and have the following settings:
Note: You must have a UMD in your PSP, it doesnt matter which one, even a demo. You just need to have one in to load an iSO
222/111 MHz
system menu
game
game
remove
off
on
regionfree
regionfree
regionfree
off
off
Now press X and you should be back at the XMB (cross menu bar)
Now go to mphgameloader and it should load Daxter

1. For Daxter : Decrypt Boot.bin and replace prxs with those from Star wars battle front II. You will need mph and umd to run it.
2. For Metal Gear Acid II : You need to decrypt the prxs(or pm me so i can email you the prxs to use.) Then rebuild and boot up with mph and umd emu.

Odd, I have SE-2", try to load the metal gear acid 2 ISO and it just black screens then reboots.
