Hello.
First I downloaded 6 different games and burned them on iomega DVD+R 8x and all of them works fine... than i ran out of iomegas DVDs. Than I bought Verbatim DVD-R 16x and all games I burned on it don't work...well ps2 does read it but when it starts loading it freezs and it doesn't "move", it's like over. I also tried to burn it on 8x speed but it's the same s**t. Could anyone please help me.
Thanks

Well burn the 16x ones at 4x and see what happens, if that doesnt work try 2x and finnaly 1x, if the same thing keeps happening you gotta buy new media, Verbatim is good but if you can buy Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD-R from
DVD-R-media-100.html" class="korostus" target="_blank">http://www.supermediastore.com/taiyo-yuden-silver-thermal-8x-dvd-...
theres a memorial day sale so you can a 100pk for 30$ :D. With free shipping, thats the best media with the best deal.PS2 loves the TY's :D. If you live in the UK you gotta get them from somwhere else.

16X discs are just know to give people problems. That is why i always suggest sticking with 8X
But a few things that may help
1. Update your burners firmware if ther is an update. This helps with media compatibility
2. try burning them at 4X and see how it goes
3. make sure nothing else on the computer is being used when burning.

Verbatim are good discs so i doubt media is the problem. But the 16X discs may be.

also realize it's not the name on the package that matters, it's the media code. When good brand media is bad, it's generally called "fakes". There's a sticky that has all the media codes, shame though you don't know what the code is till you pop it in dvddecrypter.. I had some sony media that was supposed to be good, but it had the same media code is the lowest end memorex... hence bad media. :|
