I have WinRAR, the pc doesnt recognise them, other than to tell me they are split files. I downloaded the programme that split them (HJSplit) and the one to join them (HJJoin) and have joined into one large file, however this has an .xxx extension, which my computer tells me is a cross stitch generator!! Im a bit stumped. WinRAR doesnt recognise the files.

Click the first link in my sig.
Find the button that says "Free", click it.
Wait about 30 seconds for your download to begin. Your answer is there, with pretty pictures.

I seriously fail to comprehend how so few people can understand how to use rapidshare.
Click the link.
Press the "FREE" button.
Wait, the download queues in 20 seconds.
I've got it uploaded and hosted at my private personal site, but I'm waiting until I have a better grasp of hotlink protection before I link it.

TomMelee's BTBible is hosted there, all it is is a site where you can upload your files for others to download.

Im sorry for being an idiot, im normally quite good with these things, but I keep getting this message:
Download-session invalid. Please click here.
Possible reasons:
Download-session expired. Direct-links last a few minutes for free users and a few days for premium-users.
You requested this download-session from a different IP than yours. If you use AOL, try a different browser
Im on bt broadband, any ideas? Sorry!

Roger that, sorry. But seriously, the number of people who can't find the "Free" button never ceases to amaze.
I've never heard of that error before...that's weird. Are you proxied or something?
Hmm, weird they changed it. Now after you hit free you've gotta enter in a ... what are those thingers called... the funky lookin letter/number thinger to verify your download.
I'm close to having it hosted elsewhere, dunno 'bout your error.

They are rar files, but the person who created them was probably to dumb to realise that if he changed the name WinRAR wouldn't recognise them.
Just choose to open the first file with WinRAR and extract it.
You could also just rename them all to .rar

Well that might be fixable by using winrar's archive test {3rd icon in the top bar), it can sometimes fix the errors.

Hi all I know this thread is a month old but I just had a bad Torrent file I got 2 errors (part 17 and part 49 or r17, r49) a way to sort this is to READ the error message, make note of which files are corrupt, right click on these files and choose repair, then try extracting again. Its worked for me many times hope this helps someone.
