if am using WinAvi and want to convert an avi file to an mpeg file, should i choose mpeg-1 or mpeg-2. i want to do that so i can burn the mpeg using Cucusoft Mpeg to Dvd burner.

MPEG-1 for VCD, MPEG-2 for SVCD and DVD but why not burn your AVI to DVD in WinAvi and then let WinAvi create the DVD using Nero or its own burning engine? It says CD burner but I thought I read somewhere it burns DVD's.
