Hi, I have a question about bitcomet that probably has a simple answer but it's bugging me. I've been using Bitcomet for proably over a year and a half but in the past 4 months I've had no broadband due to moving house and no signals and so on hence the reason I've forgotten bit and pieces about my software and tools. I can remember that on bitcomet you can view logs such as how much you've downloaded in total and also uploaded in total. At the minute when I have a file downloading I can see how much is dl as I'm downloading but when I've finished downloading I forget how to check how much I've downloaded in total, that's including the total of files I downloaded since I started using Bitcomet. I know it can it can be checked and I know it's simple to do, but I forget lol. Can anyone help me out on this ? Thanks
lol simple, to calculate how much you have download(if that is what ive read correctly) just hit the statistics tab on the left side. That has for example:
Yeah simple when you have the statistics option and logs and so on.
Thing was, I done a routine system restore which I've done many a time and like I said I hadn't used bitcomet in a couple months.
Then I just couldn't figure out how to check average dl speed and so on. I uninstalled bitcomet and re-installed it, and the option appeared again. It's amazing, for something I used to check everyday and now still do I couldn't figure out what was missing from the face of bitcomet! How those options were gone I really dont know. I know a system restore restores previous files but it happened after that. I have the options back now and they are essential, especialy when your broadband provider has a traffic quota!!
Thanks for your Reply.

Oh once I found the box that contained all those options I knew where I was. For some reason that box went missing with all those options in it. Once It reappeared after the re-install I knew where I was. My provider only allows me 30gb allowance per month so I really need those logs, statistics and so on. The system restore done something to bitcomet but it's fine now after the re-install.
Once again thanks for your interest.
Basically I'm with a company called digiweb and they do normally have a "mytraffic" link on their website so you can check your "traffic usage". I pay ?35 a month for a 3meg dl and 512 ul and an allowance on 30gb. If you go over your limit, they don't charge you extra but cap your speed. So if you reach you allowance total with 4 days remaining in your month, well then you'll have crap speed for those 4 days. The "mytraffic" link has been down for quite awhile so I was using the logs in bitcomet as an approx guide on my download usage.
