there is IRC, Newsgroups, Torrents, and general P2P like Limewire
those are about all i know

You can go out school and use BBS's. They're all telnet now so you need a good telnet client. Do a google search for BBS's and Qmodem pro and you have another way to find stuff to do. :)

Well i would have to say the fastest one.
Newsgroups and IRC are just a bit more complicated then torrents.

i usually use mIRC but it wont allow me to go on and my school blocked torrents so i'm kinda assed out and you cant find "big files" on p2p

newsgroups is the best hands down,its easy once you get going,you just batch the files up and let it rip.
just depends on whether you want freebies,or you want to pay
personally its newsgroups all the way for me,super fast downloads,no qeuing,no sharing,no looking around for a good torrent,and access to all the new stuff.
worth every penny of the £6 it cost me.
