ive always used pioneer dvd drives my last 1 being A06 with no problems but recently i changed to a liteon 16xdl lightscribe and what ever i copy wont play on any dvd player
and im using the same programs i was using with the pioneer.
what do you think is wrong.....

What kind of media (brand, -,+ speed) are you using, how fast are you burning and what program are you burning with. If Nero, post a log.

im using various types of -r media at all speeds using nero/ discjuggler/ dvd shrink/ dvd santa/ copy to dvd/plus more all do the same everthing is burnin as it should do but nothing will play on a stand alone dvd or xbox but cd-r's work perfect its just dvd's.

so swapped over to my old pioneer A06 which is on it'S last legs and again used all types of media at diffrent speeds and they all work perfect apart from the odd comunication error which is about 1 in 10.

If you can post a Nero log of one of your failed attempts with the new drive, it may shed some light on the problem.

Also, if you have PowerDVD or some other playback software on your PC, does it work?
