I need this updated version to allow bitsetting. I downloaded the newer one that allows bitsetting, but the old version still runs. How do I get my updated version of this feature into my nero program?? I mean it is there and it works, but I still have the old one. I don't want to just start removing components without knowing exactly what to do first.

Place the old CD/DVD speed .exe program in the new one's folder and the new .exe in the old folder.

You can change the booktyping with DVD Decrypter: Tools>Drive>Change Booktype> select your drive and type it how you want it to write.

Ok here is the thing, I am using Nero 6 ultra edition version6.0. A little while back I set the booktype(forgot how I did it)But I recently burned/backedup the Sopranos and the dvd rom displayed and played on my standalone. i mean it actually said dvd rom on the screen!!!! So I know my burner is capable of this feature. But now all of a sudden my files aren't being booktyped. I tried to download the Nero cd-dvd drive speed V4.5.1.1 but I don't know how to incorporated it with my existing version of Nero. Sorry I am not very computer literate, so I can't figure this out!!!

Nero should automatically booktype your disc if your drive is capable, I think Nero's default setting is booktype=DVD-ROM.
