Does anyone know about the CRT displays in arcade machines? If so, I'm working on an old "The Real Ghostbusters" board. It has almost been restored to working condition except for one thing; the CRT display blew out.

I have some spare PC monitors laying around, and I was wondering if anyone knew how the display works on an arcade machine. We've successfully hooked the machine up to one of the monitors, as a bit of an image appeared with the proper colors and everything. However, it was just a distorted line going across the screen. I've not worked on many CRT displays, so I'm hoping someone here might know the signal frequency differences etc. The colors, grounds, and etc. are correct for the VGA pin standard, but I don't know much about it beyond that. Any help would be appreciated, and if anyone might know where I could get another display for an arcade machine I would also appreciate a link.
