tried to back it up today using the trusted method of dvd decryptor but for some reason having trouble when i select the godfather image it comes up saying ive selected the wrong file it should be mds file and selects it so trusting that i go to burn and it says not enough space on disc

to i need to rebuild using iso buster which ive tried but it doesnt seem to be able to pick my saved image up does this sound write or has something happened when saving the image never had this trouble before

i've also backed up the godfather using the same method (dvd decrypter). i've found out that if the mds file dosen't work to just select the other one.

for instance when you go to select your image there is a red looking file icon and a silver cd icon. if all else fail try the other file. i didn't have to rebuild it.

you can select the ISO file, but you are suppose to use the MDS file with DVD Decrypter. But that will not solve the problem of the file size as the MDS file is just like a cue file, it only tells the program what and how to burn something. It is still burning the iSO either way.

So what is the size of the ISO that you created?

the file size according to decryptor is 4,707,319,808 im trying to burn onto ritek disc but says not enough space going off the sectors 2,298,496 that the game has and according to disc info ritek disc only has 2,297,888 sectors

have never come across this before sometimes use verbatim discs (got none left at the minute) are they big enough to do it

The US Ver of the Godfather is shrinkable.. It has a false LBA that brings it down to around 2.8gb

try doing an easy rebuild on it..
