If I get the tools for the Silver PS2? If so, why? And, what's so special about the formatting on the Swap Magic discs?

SM disks contain a large TOC (4.35 gigs) and the data that is only on a pressed ps2 game, making them able to boot backup games. They work perfectly, granted u get 3.6(coder seems like its having boot problems with some ppl). Tools (fliptop, magic keys) trick the sensors, while SM allows u to boot ur backups.

that or get a good modchip installed
Can play back up's without modding.
I have also heard of a memory card expoloit that can be used but do not know much about it.

But that only works on non slimline. It's also more costly.

I agree with the first part but how is memory card exploit more costly than swap magic or modchip??

the memory card exploit will work with slim ps2 but its a lot of messin to setup, much easier to get a chip or swap magic, also u dont need any adapters to do the exploit u can now get the files needed on a cd but will need access to swap magic to sort it out
