ISO loaders like devhook v41d only work on 1.5 FW psp(and 1.0).If you got a 2.0+ psp it will not work.
How is Ghost In The Shell (Pal) working(the ISO)? It freezes whit Umdemu 8c and devhook v41d when it is loading.Do I have to do some thing to the iso?prx?

I was not aware of that.......Yup ur gonna haveto swap some prx's to get it to work.....Heard that Street Rider prx's will do the job. If not, u can always go the battlefront/MGA route.

I know you know of 1.5 but Nutar can have a 2.71
I will try dose prx and see if it works.do you have this game and is it a US or PAL?

Yeah I found my psp value pack brand new in the box for 220 cad on a local car forum. Some guy won it at a arcade and never used it. (1.5)So this wont work on a downgraded psp? I also spen more time figuring it out than playin it.

No it wont work, as said earlier, only 1.5s can play iso's. But since u do in fact have a 1.5, u can do anything. 1.5s are extremely rare, and if u dont want ur psp, im sure u could make some good cash if u decided to sell it.

Same thing with Mega Man, swap the prx's. In fact, with a few exceptions, most 2.6 games require the swap.

I do know it works with meetjoeblacks ppf patch, but im not sure about the mic. U can get that patch at ps2nfo.

Are ur gta iso's compressed in cso format? That will cause gta to play odd for sure. There was a post a few pages back on getting gta running flawlessly, check it out.

NO, it emulates, it wont brick your psp. If it did, you would have heard from a bunch of pissed off 1.5 owners.

Well, I have tried with other mem stick to get any ISO with dev hook going, and I get same results. I really do not know that to try next. If someone can help me with tested working files, please PM? any other ideas?.
Just to repeat myself?
1. downloaded link for devhook from the beginning of this thread and put to folders on my mem stick
2. add one more folder ISO and put iso in it
3. set all settings as indicating, restarted it starts booting and it freezes? after couple of seconds it shuts down. When booting it after that it gives me message that my settings were corrupted and I have to go through the setup again, select language etc?.
4. tried with devhook 4.0 and I was able to boot to 2.5 emulator, but iso does not start automatically?.
Do not have problems with any other iso, just with dev hook?please helpppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also hav a similar problem
my psp re boots but then freezes on a background and switches off
im also slightly confused as to whether or not u hav to have a UMD to boot off which requires 2.0
please help me im a noob and its really anoying

I know a lot of loaders and homebrew that write flash. But many of them dont cause any damage. Even if it did, you can get the new mod-chip.
