thank you i'll download but i'm a noob so it'll prolly take me ages to figure out how to use these loaders and that and then if i do get it installed i can only play certain games with it according to

and then i'll have to figure out how to get MPH loader and FAST loader working LOL this is gonna take me the rest of my life i'm soo noobish at this!!!
EDIT: oo ya since i'm such a noob can someone either tell me how to do this or give me a link on how to make an iso with a psp game you already own and then play that iso with the new dev hook 0.43 and btw i would want the iso to be as small as possible. thanks much

ok, i have devhook, nd i can emulate my gta umd on my psp with version 1.50 perfectly, but i never did understand how to emulate the internet browser. is there any tutorial that i can read that can show me how to do it, cuz the tutorials that i have read bout the devhook only shows me how to emulate iso's or umd's dat require version 2.xx-->2.50

Just load your GTA UMD using DevHook.
Then after it has loaded press HOME then exit the game. Then your in firmware 2.5/2.6(depending on which version of DevHook you are using).
Go to Network Settings, then Infrastructure to set up your connection.
Now navigate to the network icon (its right next to the GAME icon). Scroll down to Internet Browser and press X.
Thats it!

I've just installed 0.43 and booted it up to check it all works, and have encountered some freezing problems when using the web browser.
Anyone else had this and maybe know a solution?

The newset version is 0.43. It should say in the DevHook menu.

i have devhook .43 and i cant get any other firmware to run beside 2.00 and 1.50 it freezes when i try to run it im sure that its cause i dont have the os files for those and i only have 2.00 umds so i cant install 2.5 or 2.6 . but i know how to install thes files manually if i get them .if some one could e-mail at jayman123@rock.com me the dh folder on their ms root i can use other fw then 1.5 n 2.00 please my e-mail is jayman123@rock.com

it still doesent work so i think i need a 2.6 rom to install itbut then there are now no 2.5 umds help!!!!!

I am having a problem with devhook! I had my friend install it once and it worked for a while then all of the sudden, when I tried leaving a game it wouldnt load my background and stuff it would just give me an error message saying my settings are corrupted. So I deleted my devhook files and downloaded the new devhook 0.43 and followed all instructions to get it to run and once I tried to quit a game and go to the main screen in 2.5 I got teh blue error message again. I dont know what to do!
Please help soon!

That is a link only for devhook 0.43. I need a new fw 2.5 dump is what you're saying, correct? I will try to download a new one. It will take a while as I only have dial-up cause highspeed isnt available.:(

Wouldnt the dump be over 15mb instead of 315kbs? I am looking at QJnet now. I'll find the 2.5 firmware. And I have pspbrew to extreact data.psar

Thanks, its going, Once its done in and hour and a half I'll say if it works. I really hope it does! Then I just need to compress my ISOs so they are smaller and maybe I can fit another. :)

Has anyone tried to run the iso compreser that comes with the new devhook? For some reason my windows won't run command it gets an error.

Try using the ISO Compressor from the utilities section at PSP-Hacks.
I have had that problem also. This is how I fixed it:
1.Compress the ISO that I wanted to compress into CSO into DAX.
2.Then using ISO Compressor, convert DAX-->CSO

i have a question about those compressors, I have burnout legands wich is like a whoppin' 477mbs. How much smaller can it be made? A rough estimate.
