To check the version of your current software, select 'System Settings' under the Settings from the Home Menu, then select 'System Information'

Hi!
The PSP just reboots in firmware 1.5 again (currently in the PSP after my downgrade). So it doesn't load 2,6 or 2,5 or anything. What is wrong. I downloaded the full chaos package but it can't load the firmware at all. What is missing?
I would like a on-site support technician for this in Sweden =)

could you plz help me. i have the newest version of devhook. Dragonball z wont work, and i need to know if need for speed most wanted will work with this???

Yes NFS will work and for DBZ if you have it fixed you need the original prx files. or try to change them whit S.Riders prx.

@rehman- It should work untouched. Do you have DevHook 0.44?
Do you have firmware 2.7 in flash files in dh\270\?

I have devhook 0.43, with 2.6. How do I use teh new devhook .44 and firmware 2.7? Do I need to install 2.7?

no imy devhook can only go up to 2.6. does dbz need 2.7????
if it does and i need new devhook plz can you give me new dev hook with flash files and everything in, because i probably will mess up, im new to all of this. plz if you can do that, i would appriciate it.

Try messing around with the pre-load addresses.
Do you have a UMD inserted?

Yes I have a UMD loaded. Tried different preload adresses aswell. But be problem is, it never starts with another firmware than the current 1.5. Very strange. Tried several different packages.

I'm trying to run GTA or Everybody's Golf with devhook but that don't work. But initially I wanted to test an ISO file but that don't work either. Can see the ISO in devhook but can't start it.
PSP just makes a simple reboot as if nothing had happened.
I use the correct settings and tried different ones, still rebooting.
No custom background, still 1.5 firmware in system settings.

I tried to reinstall it again. formatted the memory card and downloaded the latest devhook 0.43.01.01
Now when I try to run a UMD Disk the PSP freezes up totally and I have to shut down the PSP and restart it.

Since devhook can now run 2.7, is there a good chance that sony might make a 2.8 pr 3.0? Cause if they do they will probably make so that you need that to run the playstation emulator sony is making.
Also where do you get these demos that you can use with 2.71?

All we need is halo for the psp now. :)

I have a problem with the new devhook I just downloaded. I got it put on my memory stick, and when I start it, it starts and says "sony psp" and stuff like that. Then it loads the blue background like on 1.5 when I am trying to run 2.71, then it freezes.

EDIT: Sorry, just click on the icon on the top right corner of your post. My mind just went blank...I thought you were talkin about DevHook or something
You can hide the corrupted icons using a program called SEI PSP Tool, look for it in the utils/downloads section of PSP-Hacks.

Thats what I got, and I have hotshots golf in teh UMD drive.
Oh, I was clicking teh wrong thing to edit my message. I was clicking the words next to the little icon. Sorry I poseted so much. Well anyway, could someone help me? It still freezes and I have the folders in their right places.
