Hey guys.
Tell me, will the Devhook .44 work on this 4gig hdd Datel piece of shite?
Or did I totally waste my money and buy it? Should I rather just fork out more money and get another memory stick?
Thanks for the help!

Devhook v44 dose work whit 4GB hdd Datel.(it was not working whit DHv41) Why did you get the 4GB Datel if you can get a 4GB MS?

Quote: Alright DevHook v.44 running perfectly...yet a few minor things I would like to edit...first off was the crappy ass Evangelion pic(which I changed already) but then theres the "Your Dead" vid from God of War when you load a UMD in the 2.71 firmware...is there a way I can change the load movie to the Bleach one from the pervious version of Devhook of Firmware 2.60? Ty :)
Go to dh\251\flash0\vsh\resource\ and copy the gameboot.pmf, then go to dh\271\vsh\flash0\vsh\resource and paste. Press yes if it asks you to replace.

@eternalis
Thank you, I will play around with the gameboots. I appreciate it.
@damo666
Well somebody is just made of money lol
I feel as if I should just hold out with my 1g ms since at this rate they will have a 16g by next year...that will cost an arm and a leg.

Thats it, just get the .44 FULL version, run it like a homebrew and your good to go.
@ani
All caps is not the way to go for questions...other might find it kinda rude...If you want people to take you seriously and not look like a 13 year old, don't type in all caps :) (no hostility just givin the word)
So, now that 2.71 can be emulated...can every game be played without fixing prx files? Just curious -Thanks

Yes, theoretically all games should work with no PRX swaps.
However, you never know...
We probably will have to swap PRXs when Sony bring out their new firmware.

Yea, Sony should just give up and work on better games. No matter how hard they try to find a way to stop people from hacking the software, someone will break it.
Sadly the game line up hasn't really improved eternalis though...I feel like the best games were the ones that came out with the system, and the only reason some others that came later did well are because every one of them are remakes.
I pray Ghouls -n- Ghosts will shed some light in the gaming department and Valkrie...im tired of crappy titles

You place the .ISO files on your msRoot:/ under a folder called "ISO"

Hi all,
I have Devhook .44 on my PSP. I have put the system back to 1.5 as per the GTA thing.
I have copied over the DH folder and the PSP folder, I run devhoo and it comes up:
Cant Start/Load devhook
and it then goes back to the blue screen.
I notice there is a folder called tool and in there there are two exe's : ciso and umdsign.
Do these need to be copied over and to where? I have tried various different version of Devhook from .040 upwards but each time the same message appears - can anyone shed some light on this or explain wha I am doing wrong please?
thanks

This is all that was in in the d/load:
MS_ROOT (Folder) insdie this was: DH and PSP Folders inside DH Fodlers: Folders: 150, 150F,200 250 260, 271 and KD. Inside the GAME Folder: %_SCE_DH_ENG and _SCE_DH_ENG inside each of these was a file called EBOOT.PBP.
Does this make sense?

Yes thats the right size. What settings are you using in DevHook. Remember you must start DevHook at 22MHz or less (not 333MHz) or it will crash.

Those are called Userbars. Google them. You can make them in Photoshop. But there was also a site that generated a userbar for you if you provide the image and text.(It was a live script).

How do I run the iso in 333? after booting in 222? isnt it like home and select but when?
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

After booting at 222, you have to use the HOME button to exit to the 2.71 XMB. Then you press HOME SELECT. And you run the ISO from the 2.71 XMB to play it at 333MHz.

I have installed DevHook onto my PSP now where to put the ISO files?
Thanks
