Hey i am looking for a very popular torrent client for a realyl high end computer. currently i am running a old crappy computer so utorrent was the best by far. i still think it is the best even for a better computer but i would like some advice.

So my new computer is gonna be windows xp64 pro, amd 4200 X2, and 2 Gb or dual channel memory. other parts dont mean much for torrents. that is some expensive hardware and i am wodnering if i will get better results with a different client because i can run "bigger" apps because of this hardware. so would you say bitcomet or azereus for a the new pc?

Meh. Azureus, but that's cuz I'd choose it anyway.

I'm not sure what you're hoping to achieve, but...it's more about settings and less about system specs.

As a matter of fact, I've got a p2 500 idiot box downstairs, and it routinely runs ~350-400kbps for extended periods of time.

I'd allways go for uTorrent, no matter what your specs you cant go wrong with that client, love it! :)

Stick with that unless you want a change, you could go for Azereus, more options on offer, bit more of a resource hog though but if its a high end comp it wont matter will it?

ya i think i will stay with utorrent. the only thing that sucks is my isp rogers is traffic shapping. first i sued there VoIP port (1720) and then they blocked it and they have also blocked encryption. it sucks and it isnt me i even modded my router wrt54g with the dd-wrt firmware so it works. it sucks they have a 100 gb cap to. lol i want FiOS i guess it isnt gonna happen until usa takes over canada lol. but vpn works on traffic shapped isp's. they just turned it off and i am getting great speeds in utorrent. i always get max speed of torrentleech 700 kB/s. i am staying with uTorrent.
