Hello All

I'm having a big problem at the minute making backup copys of my PS2 games. I have all the needed software, DVD Decrypter, PS2 patching software and buring software, and my chiped PS2. I'm trying to make a back up copy of tiger woods PGA tour 06, now i set it to Decrypter and a error message comes up when it gets to about 97%, i clicked to cancel, i then tell it to patch then burn the ISO image on to a DVD. But when i put it in my PS2, it does not work, and i don't understand why its doing this, any help would be very greatful.

Thx

What error message? This sounds like your problem...?

Its most likely the old "Read error" message cos your disc is scratched too much for Decrypter to read it within the default read retries.
You could always try & see if Nero or Alcohol can read it, or try rebuilding the game. Although how you're gonna extract the files from a damaged disc is gonna pose a problem.

Try using Alcohol 120% and setting the read speed to 1x.

Also try a different DVD reader, sometimes that helps too.
