Can someone please post a list of pal back up games that work with swap magic 3.6.

I am confused by the scattered games that get posted everywhere and most seem to be NTSC not PAL.

People can post NTSC games too. Just list them as such.

Only place one region per list. EG post PAL games in one post, and the NTSC games in another.

This is a daft post.
All games will work. Its just a case of which work with a simple 1:1 backup, and which require additional loaders and/or rebuilding.
I use SM2.0 & there's never been a game that I can't get to work with it - and I've got over 850 of them.
As a general rule of thumb; SM's TOC is 4.35Gb. Any game over that TOC size will require rebuilding or patching to make them smaller. Any games near or at 4.35Gb might work as a 1:1 backup, but rebuilding to make them smaller will speed up loading times anyway, so you're as well doing that.

Few afterdawn rules you should know:
10. Don't post your email address to the forums! Spambots love dumb forum users who post their email addresses to public sites and grab those addresses and you will soon discover the wonders of penis enlargement kits and other really useful products posted daily to your inbox.

12. Repeated posts to increase total number of posts is not allowed. Especially if your message is the last in the thread, edit it rather than post a new message.

In other words... please remove your email address in your sig. and use the edit button instead of posting multiple replies to your own thread :)

vlosrd, I really dont understand your problem about NTSC games...
NTSC or PAL, both versions works perfectly with swap magic!! The only problem that you can have, it's in online games, because you can't use an NTSC game to play online in a PAL region!!

About Working/Non-Working games, 98% of PS2 games works with swap magic!! You can make that any game works perfectly with swap magic, you just have to rebuild it!! (Ask anyone you want about that! Everyone will say that is true!)

I'm saying that because I use Swap Magic, and I dont have any non-working game!!! And I have lots and lots of games! NTSC and PAL!!

(If you dont know how rebuild a game, you just have to ask or search here in this forum! Here, you have all you need to learn!)

I think the reason vlosrd wanted a list of PAL backups that works with swap magic 3.6 is because looking from his email address in the sig. (which he should really remove) he's in Australia, and like New Zealand, they use PAL system, and so it might be easier for him to get his hands on PAL games from stores.

Although I do agree with a bit of effort you can make any game work with swap magic, just a matter of how much effort is involved.

dan168 is right, i was looking for conviniance, as rebuilding the toc seems just a tad confusing when i look at the instructions.

What is it, like half a dozen programs, and a whole bunch of steps. How long does it take to rebuild a large toc game?

Seems like a fairly easy process to bugger up and after forking out 60$ for dvds to burn on, i would prefer not to have half of them as costers.

Thats no to say i wasn't willing to learn, just wanted a list of smaller toc games that i could pick and choose from to boost my collection of games with, that way i could get some easy back ups done before tackling the hard stuff.

I see alot of TOC lists for NTSC games, which doesnt help me. i have gotten NTSC games from torrents, but after a few of them, it chews up my download limit, hence the post.

Hmm I think most PAL and their NTSC counterparts should be about the same size? Just a guess though. Rebuilding isn't too hard... does take some time to reduce the size of the videos though.

Doesn't Ihug have an unlimited package now? Damn you aussies, if only we get that in NZ... :P I read in the Ihug news that they want to offer it here, but just too expensive to do that :(

yeah, i got that program. its real easy to use.

had to find something after my back up of second sight didn't work.

now it does.

dont quite understand how it works, a game that was 4.38 gig is now only 1.48 gig after running it through the program. yet it all of it still seems there and it now runs like a charm. all i need now is a way of shrinking dvd 9 games as easy.

one more thing, onimusha dawn of dreams, is it a dvd 9 game or 2 dvd 5 discs. anyone know?

thanks

Don't worry about the second disk... Every time that you have to change disks, you have the option to save the game! After that you just have to turn off your PS2 and iniciate again, but this time with the second disk and load the game! I never had any kind of problem with that!
( for more information about that, search here in the forum... you have a forum talking about that where there are all you need to know! That's where I learn to change onimusha disks! )

About the game, if you had liked the previous Onimusha versions, you will love this one! Intense action and lots of solid puzzle-solving, just like its predecessors. =)
