can this be converted to NTSC? I tried with paltontsc and the screen is all the way to the left and not visible. didn't try adr because it has been said this doesn't work either

i am sure it can, but you may have to tweek the Y position settings a bit to get it to fit your screen right.
I have the PAL version as well and with SWap Magic it was very annoying. It cut off the bottom where the ammo and stuff was so i could not see everything.
Then i got my DMS4 Pro and not it plays just fine.

do you know what the Y pos settings should be? right now its so far to the left you can barely see it

no, i have a modchip so i have never had to convert a game or fix one. The built in force PAL mode and Y-Position fix take care of it for me.
