do you also own a PS2? i think the fact that PSP games are too similar to PS2 games make the system less enjoyable.

i have a psp and with the nice improvements the ds lite brings in visually is enough to reel me in ... i admit that i really made fun of the ds so bad its not even funny..

the psp is a good system... i use it for music primarily and it does the job for me *but then again the size factor pisses me off that i wish i had a nano or something* ...the thing is .. is just what gozilla says .. too many ports that dont show you much other than attempts to turn a console game to a handheld game.. wow haha .. gta was surprising but even at that it wasnt THAT great of a game...revolutionary none the less but it still wasnt unique enough..

and the arguement that ds owners bring in with saying it's "unique" is really something ppl should look at... its something that graphically it isnt going to win but ... with the ds lite it should bring in more popularity...

it sold me ... but dont get me wrong ... the psp will get its games *new metal gear... NCAA Football 07*.... i think its just gonna take some time until they catch onto more unique titles to the psp ...

C'mon guys, don't be comparing two ports of the same game on different systems. The one that has lower specs will usually get the worst version, simple as that.

Look at the DS library:
Mario Kart
Animal Crossing
Brain Age
Bleach DS
New Super Mario Bros
Tetris DS

There's some quality games in there, and one of them, Brain Age, appeals to a lot of people (maybe not you, but that's not the point here). People were skeptical on the Dual Screen. The media was already showing the PSP as the winner. What happens now? The DS gets all the good games, the PSP sells as a can do everything, but at mediorce quality media device.

Who gives a damn about specs anyway? Apparently, Japan doesn't. Just look at the DS Lite sales and the PSP sales. I think if the DS had crappy games, they wouldn't be selling so many a month and having shortages right?

i think maybe why you only think the psp is at best a mediocre media device is because of the memory sticks *pretty pricey* and the whole conversion thing.. other than i dont hear very much of ANYTHING in terms of MEDIA features greatly appreciated on the ds ...

another thing ... of course the ds lite sales will be higher than the psp's sales... rite now i think there is probably a steady incline for the sales of the psp because its been over a year out ... the ds lite is recently new so OBVIOUSLY its going to have its share of high sales in the beginning.. ur comparing between apples and oranges really

look .. nintendo is going to have the hardest time ever becoming number one again ... seriously the way that they approach their audience is too hard to overtake sony and microsoft.... kids can only provide so much sales .. raw graphical power will be appealing slightly over gameplay experiences that nintendo offers lets face it ...

the handheld market will be nintendo's to take for now .. but i think a next gen psp will have more strength .. but even now the psp is still considered top dog over the ds in many peoples minds...
