Neither the PAL or NTSC versions are online enabled. The game has NEVER been reported to have online function, so I don't know where you got that idea from.

Nice, although I have it, it comes out on my birthday :) As for the online play, weird, how will they get online gaming on GTA? Just need to wait and see, eh?

@shauntay: Sorry, but I can't see anything on GamePlay's webpage product description, that you posted up, which says about it being online! Even their box-shot hasn't got the online symbols on it. So unless I'm going blind in my old age, then I think you were just imagining it. Or being hopeful. One of the 2.
Besides, if you believed everything GamePlay put on their site, then you'd of been expecting the PAL release of Socom 3 last November, when everyone else had its release set as March 2006 - when it did actually come out.

Yeah I hate to say it but I don't think it's going to be online, the PAL version. I'd be shocked.

The PC version of GTA- Vice City is online enabled, you just have to download a patch and you can play it online... so, I think that it wouldn't be hard to make any other GTA version an online game!

what is your problem reefbreak? This is the 3rd post I've seen from you, where you attack me for no good reason, after I've tried to help someone out.
As for MX v ATV, there's good reason for thinking its online;
There are 2 versions of it in PAL territories. One IS online, PAL retail, available in UK (saw it myself, pre-owned in GAME). The other is not, available in UK & other PAL territories.
EDIT: Hmm, got a funny feeling, reefbreak, that you've been on this forum before, under a different username, which was banned recently. Is that the case, 'needs'?

I think the confusion comes from the PSP version. I'm pretty sure it has mulitplayer available (I'm not a PSP owner so I can't be sure) and one would think they would keep it when porting to ps2, but as far as I know they've removed it.

You did mean HD loader did you. Only I had HD Advance and it would not play GTA LCS but HD Loader plays it fine.

just a follow up.. Definitely NO online for GTA LCS (PS2)(NTSC/PAL)
Not Compatible with USBAdvance (Freezes after the Intro)
PSP version can go online AdHoc via Xlink-kai (google it)
And Hell Yeah PSP version is much better!
