i have downloaded patchs for games and was wondering how i put the patch into the games can someone tell me

its dbz budaka 3 and i downloaded the patch from ps2nfo but when i extract the folder there isnt that musch and i have ppf-o-matic

Try reading the instructions/nfo that came with the patch. It often helps.

That way you'd of found out that for DragonBall Z: Budokai 3, you've just downloaded CDLoader, which you burn to a CD-R to use as an additional swap to boot the game.
