i have an amd 3700+, ecs kn1 extreme, hitachi eide 250 gb hard drive. i bought a new samsung sata2 250 gb hdd (SP2504C). i copyed the parition from eide hard drive to the sata hard drive. windows loads up and a new hardware found loads up. it tells me i need to restart so i do. when it restarts i see the windows logo and loading then it just restarts. help thanks alot in advance.

you need to load the sata driver so windows knows it is using sata & not ide
