guano, if i swap it manually, is it going to replace the old prx with the new prx i downloaded?? how do i know which prx i am looking for. the site you gave me has alot of the prx. o yea after u done with the prx, all u have to do it put everything into an ISO format right. do u need a program for that?? thank you

What you do is this:
Make you sure you have your ISO in the folders format. I.e., PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.BIN. Follow this path:
PSP_GAME\SYSDIR - Delete the UPDATE folder. (That'll shrink it some)
Then, follow this path:
PSP_GAME\USRDIR and look for a folder called either
Kmod, Kmodule, Module, Mod, PRX - something along those lines. You'll know when you find the PRX files b/c all the files will say "xxxxx.prx" (Example: audiocodec.prx)
Be advised that most of the PRX files used in the 2.50/2.60 games are all upper-case and most all games below that are lower-case.
Anyway, match the PRX files in your PSP_GAME folder up w/ the PRX files on the site and d/l them. Those ones are decrypted. Then, just replace them.
To rebuild, you're gonna need both of these:
*VcdromX 3.6
*UMDGen
Search around Google for these, we don't like to 'spoon feed' here. Plus, doing your own research pays off! :)
Anyway, to build newer ISOs, you're gonna wanna use VcdromX and ISOs prior to 2.50 (including SOME 2.50) you can rebuild w/ UMDGen.
To rebuild w/ UMDGen, just drop the PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.BIN into the largest white screen (on the right) in UMDGen. Click the SAVE icon (which is kind of like Microsoft Word's save icon) and choose your directory.
Two hours later (UMDGen takes a while) you'll have your ISO. Drop it in the "ISO" folder in your ms0.
For using VcdromX, give me like an hour and I'll put up a readme for you to follow this app is much harder to use. (I say give me an hour b/c I'm at work right now.)

To answer your question: Yes - If you swap manually, you will have to hit "OK" when windows asks you if you wanna over write the files when you drag and drop those PRX files.

dude, I am 0VVL. I just signed up under a diff name. I only use the 0VVL account from now on to retrieve links from my PMs to give to you guys. So 0VVL is now known as guano.
To answer your question: You can't search for any files there. It's a filehosting web site. You upload something for someone if they need a file you have, and in turn, the server gives you a link which you distribute to whomever needs it. In other words, it's not a download site in which you can search. It's how I distribute links to PRX files and shtuff.

I am not sure if that's the right link, (I can't d/l at work to verify) but that link should give you a copy of VcdromX already in it w/ a read me. That file was originally intended for Thirst97 and svtstang, so just ignore references to them.

yea, I tt some ppl over at Maxconsole about my idea and they were like, "Yea, big deal... that tool has been out forever (referring the the ALL.PSP extractor) and no one can do it... piss off..." Something like that. I give up. Let someone else do it. Tho I might try again sometime. I dunno. I am more interested in that B r a i n s t o r m thread I started. I was push it to the limits. "Welcome to the limit." (GTA III) What limit? Where is it? And WHAT is the limit? What if I am not satisfied w/ the limit? Is there an extension on the limit, thus making it the limit-extender? (sounds like something from Final Fantasy!)

I know it may seem like I do drugs. I've been weird my whole life, man. Seriously. I'm just... different. I don't know. I was once told in the Military, EVERBODY in my platoon could be doing the same EXACT thing, but I would be the only one NOT doing w/e it is they were doing. I'm like Eyeore from Whinnie the Pooh. Oh yea, and I have ADHD. (Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder). I'm all over the place. But seriously, I don't do drugs. Just wanted to clear that up. This is the REAL me.

I refuse to take meds tho. I don't wanna alter my personality. I Like me the way I am. Plus, I'm a klutz too, so that just adds more humour. Always spilling stuff, knocking stuff over, etc...
