OK, I have recorded a lot of stuff to dvd-ram discs using my panasonic dmre50 and have editied out the adverts. The ram disc itself works perfectly ok in my PC but when I try to import clips into my capture software I get all sorts of problems. Some clips will import fine to 99% then stop but when others do import ok and I burn to dvd using clonedvd2 I have no sound. My capture software imports the files as .mpg and these play fine on the pc but as soon as they are converted to dvd files there is no sound not even with my software player from the HDD before burning to disc. I have also noticed that a film that I have recorded via my set top box and edited the adverts out of, once imported and burnt to dvd will play OK up to where the ad break originally was and then the sound will be out of sync.

Any help would be appreciated, please.

My work around at the moment is to hook up my capture device to my panasonic dmre50 and play the whole 4 hr ram recording directly into my PC and edit from there, this of course is soul destroying.
