I had a movie that i wanted to convert.But the movie is in two files cd1 & cd2 for some reason why Nero Vision dont combind these files together to make one.Nero split the movies just like i have it downloaded.Im thinking about buying ConvertxtoDVD do i need to stick with Nero or Buy this program.

Heres a guide using VirtualDub, I have never used it but it may be worth checking out.
BTW I have not experienced any problems combining AVI files to 1 DVD using NVE

Hey DamonDash
I think you're using a old version - not sure if you have Nero 5 or Nero 6.
An update would probably help. Try this one for Nero 6:
Package 1

Binkie7 okay i just open it i got both file in there but i still see where they have both files combine into one they are slit but can be put on 1 dvd media.Im tryin to combine the movie into one so i dont have to choose the 2nd chapter to watch the second part.i need the setting setup because ALKohol guide never said anything about combineing 2 part movies.

Add all the files in vision - on the left hand side you will see 3 buttons - the middle one is merge. Click on shift than pick the titles you want to merge - this should combine into 1 movie but it's been a while since I used this option.

If you have all the title highlighted (they'll show in blue) the option should be available. It's usually not available til the files are highlighted.
Okay if that doesn't work then try Gwen suggestion join w/ Virtual Dub then convert the merged file w/ Vision. Here's a guide:

Okay dumb question how do you highlight the files right click or just click on them that might be my problem.I click on them but i just click on one then i will shift to the other with me loseing the highlight to the other.

Hold the shift key down then click on each titles to merge w/ the mouse.
That should do it!
