Hi guys please dont laugh at me for asking this
When installing isobuster it asks what type of files to associate with it. Do I check all the boxes or just iso files.

It doesn't really matter what you set it to - you can always change this in the future.

Personally I just have mine set to ISO, but that's just me.

They look ok, I mean it's got all the basic functions (direct boot PS1/PS2, even DVD9), DEV1, green fix etc etc.

Also check out http://www.x-mods.co.nz/, they have quite a good reputation. The thing with TradeMe is that, when you want to get your PS2 chipped you want to get it done by someone who's experienced, and I'd much rather get someone who's got their own website to do it, than someone from TM, because if you have a problem with an installation you'll want to be able to go back to the installer, and with someone on TM it's just really hard to do that. Though I'll admit you'll find a much cheaper deal on TM :)

luckily I have a professional TV repairer freind who will install for me, Im supposed to be getting my sm discs tomorow and already im wanting a chip lol.

Heheh, a modchip is more convenient that's for sure. I used to use swap magic but then decided to invest in a chip, I run programs using the DEV1 mode thing all the time.

I was thinking, wouldnt it be cool if you could get blank discs with the ps2 boot secter pre pressed in! prob would cost more than a platnum game though, just a thought.
anyway I got to sleep now, youll prob hear from me tomorrow when I find out my copies dont work lol.

Lol. It'll be cheaper to get a modchip in the long run anyway, but it would allow those that don't have a way to load backups to play them though...
