i m not trying to start a fight or anything, but i think ppl should give Masterchu a break about his tutorial,
alot of ppl are saying "stick away from that crap/shit etc.
out of the hundreds of ppl registered only a FEW actually bother making tutorials /guides for the rest of us. instead of being critical i think we should thank them, and if their tutorial doesnt work for some ppl or at all, its still the thought that counts.
if ppl like Masterchu, RiPPER D., etc... didnt make tutorials ALOT of ppl would be lost.
well thats all i got to say
like it ot lump it, i reckon these ppl deserve thanks 4 doing it.
P.S> a big collection of alot of tutorials from this forum can be found here.

Firstly thanks to "simmo2302" for being 1 of the few that actually thank for the tutorials!
Secondly :
Your all coming in here and not lookin at the tutorial!
i have posted it twice in this post and yet your all askin for codes and where to find em!
So either look few pages back or READ THIS!! not posting it again!
COPY AND PASTE THIS TO YOUR COMPUTER THEN YOU WONT HAVE TO ASK SO MUCH!
UPDATE 10/03/07 (10th March 2007)
I Have Re-Posted This Info In Here As Some PPL Find It Hard To Understand How Easy It Really Is To Get The Codes To Work!
THE BEST AND EASIEST WAY IS AS FOLLOWS!!
THIS IS ONLY WORKING WAY FOR SWAP MAGIC + CODER 3.8
Get MaxConvert 0.71 From http://www.codemasters-project.net/portal-english/apportal/request.php?6
Open It Up.
Now If Your codes are from codejunkies.com (ARMAX) then select the input as ARMAX.
Copy And Paste The Cheat Codes Into The Input. !!! DO NOT COPY The BLUE FOLDER CODES THESE ARE NOT SUPPORTED !!!
Now Delete The KEYCODE From The Middle Of MaxConvert.
Select Your Region.
Now Select OUTPUT as AR2v1/GS2v1.
Then Click Convert!
All Done. This Method has WORKED 100% With (The Godfather, Lego Star Wars 2, GTA-LCS, AND FINAL FANTASY 12!).
Do Not Try Any Other Way They DONT WORK!
Now... What Do You Do if you want cheats that you cant find on CodeJunkies.com (ARMAX)....?
Try http://www.xploder.net
These Are Basicly The Same As GAMESHARK Codes.
So this method is for GS users too!!!
Goto Xploder.net Or Gameshark.com
Select The Game You Want Cheat Codes For.
XPLODER USERS!! >>>>>> Select VERSION 4 CHEATS <<<<<<
GAMESHARK USERS!! >>>>>> Select Version GS2v4 <<<<<<
(MAY HAVE TO FIND GAME IN V5 THEN CLICK V4)
Now That You Have Your Codes Open MAXCONVERT 0.71 ^Link Above^
BOTH XPLODER AND GAMESHARK USE AS FOLLOWS!
Select INPUT As GS2v3-4
Copy Your Codes Into INPUT.
Delete The KEYCODE In The Middle!!
Select OUTPUT As AR2v1/GS2v1
SELECT REGION.
CLICK CONVERT.
And Your Done Enter The Codes Into SWAP MAGIC + CODER 3.8.

Thanks RiPPER D. If it wasn?t for people like you, there wouldn?t be any tutorials and everyone here would be a bunch of noobs
It is just a shame soo many ppl are not grateful for the effort and time taken to think of and make these tutorials.
ppl here should be constructive with their posts and not criticize others if their tutorial is not 100%
Unfortunately this hasnt been made a sticky yet, but for this tutorial and many others go here

Just a quick question...
I was wondering if it was possible to convert NTSC codes into PAL codes using Maxconvert?
I tried it but none of the codes changed. Here's what I did...
First I went to the gameshark website and looked at the codes for Star Ocean on PS2. I knew they would be for the USA version but wanted to try converting them into PAL format.
So I grabbed the Master Code and pasted it in the Left field. Selected GS3/4 option and then changed the drop down menu in the righthand side to AR2v1.
Next, I changed the Region to PAL and clicked convert but it just replicated the original codes and put the into the right field.
I then changed to region to see if it would make a difference but nothing happened.
So am I right in assuming that it is not possible to convert NTSC codes to any other format?

Now i realize this is late and off topic but i feel it must be said.I wasnt even gonna post here anymore until i saw this suckass!
simmo2302 - fair enough to have a whinge once about my comment (yeh maybe it was harsh but that first tutorial never worked once for me and i tried many, many times/diff games) but after your second whinge its obvious you just trying to get ppl to your guide collection thread. So you can just shut the fuck up and get a life you sly asswipe.
Anyone can make a tutorial/guide that doesnt fucking work, should i thank everyone on the net regardless of whether the tut/guide works? You want my instant hack ps3 in .24 seconds guide? It doesnt work but fuck its a great guide!!!
Credit where credit is due and im pretty sure i did thank ripperD for his WORKING guide. Also i have tried to help ppl on here so shutup you face .You didn't even have the nuts to address me (when it was obvious that you were referring to me) anyway you fucking girl and dont bother replying cos i doubt ill be back to read it but ill tell you this : this post made me feel great!
"yo simmo pull yo tongue outta that guys ass! dont you know licking anus can make you sick" also read my sig its designed for suckasses like yourself - NOW EAT IT ! muhahahahahahaha muhahahahahahahahahaha
Dont take it personally... NOW SUCK ON MY ASS!!

To convert ARMAX to AR2v2 (which is what is used in Swap Magic CODER 3.8), all you have to do is:
Find the ARMAX code from the www.codejunkies.com
Put the code in the left box, and select ARMAX as input
Select the output as Raw
Press convert
Et voila - your code!
It works as AR2v2 uses raw code as well, and so does that Gameshark one (don't know name).
For Master Codes, however, do the same, but when you input the code into Swap Magic add the line: 0E3C7DF2 1456E7A5 ABOVE your line.
Simple.
Also, don't convert codes with a blue folder next to them. Only with a tick.

Check the forums - I've already posted them! The title might have "AR2v2" in it as well as that is what SM CODER uses. They are definitely there if you take a look! Also, you could just use my guide above your post!

No, you can convert PAL ARMAX codes to PAL AR2v2 codes...
Just go to www.codejunkies.com and go to european site. Find the UK FFXII on there and use those codes to convert using my guide.

I give up. My guide works, it's clear, I've told you what to do, and I've told you I've given the codes before!
If I can be bothered, I might look for them.

*sigh* i wasnt refering to you onimuusha, but since u just leapt in and volunteered, lets just say this.
whinging about someone who has done the wrong thing is 1 thing, but flaming is another, and i m sure flaming is against forum rules. so u flamed me and masterchu, thats 2 strikes against u (i m sure the mods r keeping count - keep going and someone is gunna ban u).
i have seen this quote round the net, and i m sure it applys to u
Quote: Fighting on the net is like the special olympics, it doesnt matter whether you win or lose - you're still retarded
now if u have something constructive to contribute to this forum, please by all means do so, if not keep your flames to yourself and off this board/thread.
