hey guys im kind of new in this coder 3.8 thing, I was able to put some codes into the coder for gt4(original game)ntsc but the thing is when I try to boot the game after the loading screen from SM+3.8coder that says loading disk cheats enable... whatever I get the screen of my ps2 saying that the game is not a valid ps2 game, then what i do is open the tray and recloseit this time it will make the game go on but with nocheats on it so the point is how do i put a cheats to the game i think it's maybe because the game its bigger than 4.35GB so the coder would not loaded but is it an alternate way to do this like hook a usb to the ps2 and makeit whork with the coder PLEASE need help thankyou in advance....

(The US codes are ready to go with Coder, so no convert needed :))
about using SM on USB, I tried that... well, I took my SM3.8 and copied a file, renamed it to .elf and put it to boot from my MC with SM3.6. Suprisingly it did not work, still got the "Insert PS2 game". I think that happens if you put in some code that's not working with the game.
Try some other codes. Like only Mastercode and just one other and see it it boots up OK. Hope it works out for you! :)
And Thanks ripper for the tutorial, the original one didn't work :P

The Final fantasy XII Codes don't even work, I have tried lots of times for the tutorial, Even the first one which people say dosen't work, and the Ripper's one, Still not working. The codes i'm trying to use are

That's why codes dont work. I have a US Final fantast XII and I have coder US version...
I'll try again to use codes.... is really hard sometimes...
but still I dont understand what tutorial could covert NTSC codes for US codes.... could someone post here again the final version of this tutorial please? There's so many pages and I don't find it...

I knew that US codes was for european games...
and NTSC are for USA ...
So... if I have an european game I need european US codes...
Is not the word "US " that is used for european?

US stands for United States, which is NTSC! What on earth do YOU mean by US?

ok people here is the deal: I use my sm 3.8 and put the codes I'd put codes for GOW2 and they work with the copy of the game but not with the original one so that means that i have to make a copy of GT4in order to put some codes into the original game????
I really need help i wanna get infinite money to buy everything for my cars but its not that the codes don't work i think its because GT4its larger than 4.3gb and sm 3.8 doesn't support that so any ideas will be very wellcome thank you people...

Blue Folder Codes : DONT USE THEM (As Always) Use codes under em instead.
i really dont see why some of u finding it hard to do this? use my updated guide on page 4 i think it was made bit clearer for u.
havnt found any game that doesnt work yet.

also GT4 is daul layer (5.7 Gig) or somink like that.
SM doesnt support daul layer
GT4 has to be patched to work anyway.
u can do it but need to either RIP GT4 to 4gig DVD or patch it burn to DL DVD and then use i think its ZONE LOADER or another great loader.

Allright all I want its to put the dam codes into the game for the big money i have the original gt4 and i stopped playing it for a while then i got the sm 3.8 coder and i figured that i can use codes with it, so i just need to load the codes with sm its there a good tutorial or place where its says how to doit like with Alcohol 120 or something like that

GT4 WONT WORK WITH SM3.8 + CODER.
It cant boot daul layer discs.
1. download action replay max or (evo)
2. burn to disc
3. use the cd version of SM
4. boot ARMax
5. choose ya GT4 codes
6. boot ya game and enjoy!
(can use other cheat discs but ARMax seems to have better codes.)

Ok so i understand (i think) how to convert a few of the codes but how exactly do i convert the german action replay v2 codes to PAL (australian/uk) xploder v5 using maxconvert?
Like i want most, if not all of this to be made into useable codes rather than just numbers that for some reason my xploder just doesn't understand!

u cant change region codes i said that in here 3 if not more times.
reason u cant find those codes for that region is coz there in different memory position try other sites.

Anyway, my question is as follows...
Are there any Action Replay V2 codes for Metal Gear Solid3: Subsistence?
I've tried converting, but just get the 32-bit error when trying to convert the master code.
Guess I'll have to get a ARMax then...
