what is the difference between 802.11 b and g? and does anyone know of a good wireless router under $50?

Without going into details, g is the newer and faster spec.

I've got a Linksys WRT54G and highly recommend it. It's easy to set up and security is as strong as they get (if set up properly). Right now it's $39.99 after rebate at Newegg.
