hi all l just bought a 52 inch toshiba DLP TV any am greatly considering upgrading my dvd player to one of those upconverting dvd players any suggestions???

Since you have an HD tv,why do you
want an upconverting dvd player instead
of an HDdvd player?The HDDVD player
will play your older dvd's too.

The HD DVD players are a little pricey right now. I bought the new Sony DVP-NC85H/B 5 disc changer for $140 at CC. It does upconverting over HDMI. Then I bought a 6 foot HDMI cable from www.monoprice.com for $18. Great picture.
