I am trying to make a mp3 cd out of a audio Cd that has a DJ's mix on it. the cd has 26 some audio tracks. what i did was convert these short song files into mp3's and then burned it using nero. This audio cd is a mix cd so the songs are supposed to flow together, but on a mo3 cd there are short little gaps between each file. I am wondering if there is a way to get rid of these gaps on the mp3 cd or is there a way when converting from audio files to mp3 file, to make it just one long track. I hope whomever reads this can understand it and picture what i am talking about. please help. thanks

I think I know what you're talking about, so I started investigating to see if there was a solution for it. Here's a page about "gapless playback" (from answers.com) that describes why it happens, and solutions, etc. It looks like it has everything you need.

This thread caught my eye because I burn a lot of dj mixes too, and I remember having the same problem.

Isn't there an option in Nero to crossfade tracks when burning an audio CD? I beleive this is the method I used before to remove gaps, so the songs would flow together seamlessly.

Also, if you are still interested in ripping the files into one mp3 track, I know EAC (Exact Audio Copy) supports this.

Here are some links to information you might find useful.

I hope I understood your question correctly and was able to help. :)
