Hi, are you running 128 bit encryption? If so , try running 64 bit.
Netgears that I have come across are not the most reliable routers.

Are there any cordless phones in house?? 2.4 Ghz maybe? Do your neighbors maybe have a cordless phone? Every time their phone rings you may lose connection.

Try switching channels and see what happens. What branb wireless card??

I'm no Netgear expert, so I cant give you specific instruction, but its basically all the same. Open up the web configuration interface using the IP of the router, and open up your wireless settings. You should be able to change what channel you are running on.

Check your documentation for more detailed instructions. Or maybe someone here with Netgear experience will help out (Sorry, I'm a linksys guy)
