I cant install BitComet?!? Why?

Hi
Finally i have decided to download bitcomet so i can download stuff using torrent..
I downloaded the program Bitcomet here on the site, and it went fine!.. Its when i start the install the problems appear, appearently it cant open some files. It says more accurate:

"Error Opening file for writing:

C:\programs\bitcomet\favorite.xml

Click abort to stop the installation,
Retry to try again, or
ignore to skip this file"

It says this to a dosin of different files as
bitcomet.exe
Crashreport.exe
some .txt, .xml files.. but its almost everyfile it cant open..

I have tried to delete the installfile, and redownload, but it doesnt do the trick..

What can be wrong?

I would look into getting a new client. Alot of private sites have banned BitComet; I don't know about public sites. Azureus (heavy on resources) and utorrent (very light) are the two I see recommended most and I swear by utorrent.

Move onto Utorrent and use the guide in my sig to get you going ;)

I just downloaded Azeruos.. But when i was trying to install it, the same error occurd.. Its pretty wierd.. and really anoying!!

Dont any body have a clue why i cant install these programs..

why is it opening as an .xml? that is a FireFox extension...

It opens as a normal program installation.. and when it starts to install, the error occurs.. the .xml is just 1 of the many type of files it wont or cant read..
