I am on my second day of downloading a 699 MB file from Isohunt. There are 175+ seeds, 3000+ peers and I am connected to 90 peers but no seeds. I downloaded at my max speed to 87% and, very slowly, to 93.5% where it seems to have stalled. Most of the peers I am connected to are also at 93.5% and not showing any downloading. I have seen files with many peers but no seeds stalled at 85+ % and assumed they were phony but never with seeds. My question is is this a matter of time or have I been had? Thanks

I don't know what to say but I have noticed some of the same things with isohunt as well. Tried to download a 693mb file about 3 days ago and my dl speed reach as high as 114kbps and everything was great and it got up to 85.3% complete and then just stalled. Then said it was an error.

So I am suspicious of the files coming from Isohunt. I just use torrentspy now because you can see the seeders, leechers, peers and reviews of files all before you download. Alot of the files have detailed descriptions of the file and some even have samples that you can download to see both the audio and video quality.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know that about Torrentspy. Good features. Meanwhile, I think I'll just hang onto the file and open it every now and then to see if it will ever complete. Up to 94.2% now.

i think the numbers are wrong. there probably is only one real seeder, so everyone else is fighting for the same last 10 percent as you are. just keep on waiting, but if it takes 3 days for a 1 cd file, thats wayyy to long.

I would only deal with torrentspy and a couple of others. So far I have downloaded maybe 4 files and all are legit and all downloaded within 24hours. I alwas get great seeders from torrentspy. Plus you can read the reviews to see if they are real and the quality of the files.
