Alright, i've had this HDD thing for about a year or two now and didn't know wtf it was for, except you could play online with it. I got a modem about a year ago and completley forgot the use of the HDD thing, I didn't pay no attention to it. Then I was cleanin' my PS2 and what not and I was all like, "Hey... I got a modem AAAND this HDD thinger..." So I did what the little thing told me ot on the disc and plugged my modem into the back of the HDD thingy. So I turned it on and I clicked ISP Setup. So I did the configuration stuff and what not (My ISP = Charter, OR I have LAN or Broadband, not sure...). I tested the connection on both and it said Connection Timed Out. IT ALWAYS F*CKING SAYS THAT, and i've TRIED it ove 309897 times and nothing happens! HELP MEH!!! >_<
ok think u will need a crossover cabe there very cheap, an u just plug it into the ethernet port on ur pc and ps2.
do u have a empty ethernet port on ur pc
Thanks for the help, really, but i'm broke to the core, you know of any other way that dosen't involve buyin' anything? And the port is only free when I unplug the modem from the PC Hardrive
