At this point i am pulling out my hair trying to solve this problem. I am set up on a dsl connection thats usually running a little faster then 1000 kbps. the problem is i have another computer on my network that when it is running a bittorent it slows down every other computer to just faster then 56 kbps. It is very frustrating after testing out multiple proxy ports and everything else. the computer is runnign azuerus btw. anyone know how to fix this?

First off, switch to uTorrent. Not a resource hog and tends to be the fastest Torrent client around. Second, thats common for one machine to be pulling a huge download and the rest to slow down. Unless you have a router which supports bandwidth throttling, this is just something you will have to deal with.
