Has anyone had problems backing up the movie A Simple Plan? I haven't had problems with any other movie but both times of trying this movie have failed.

I use DVD Decrypter-DVD2One-Nero and burned it on Verbatim then some cheap media. I just can't figure out why I can't do this one!!! Both time the movie played until it got to scene 13 then stops! Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, the first time I burned it at 2.4X on my Sony DRU-500 using Verbatim then I tried burning at 1X using cheaper media on my Pioneer A04 but with no luck. Very Frustrating!

I've not heard of the movie you've spoke of.
But I also have not had anything fail to play after burning projects at X1 (also with a04) instead of X2 [just because firmware allows]

If I see the film about I'll have a go at it but until then I wouldnt like to speculate why you are having this specific problem with above title.

I think you need to find out at what level it fails.

does it fail on the original - in a standalone/pc?

Does it fail after decryption (just play files)?

Does it fail after process with dvd2one (just playing files)?

OR does it just fail after burning?

Are you just requiring the movie OR full disc?

This will direct you to the area that is causing the problem...
