(Yes i read the FAQ and the important threads)

Hey im having some trouble with burning buzz big quiz - so far i used 3 DVDs - however the last one is at least working.

What bothers me is that its a very long loading time at the beginning (1min-2min?).

Im using the RITEKG05 DVD-Rs for Burning with my Plextor 708A on a Matrix Infinity modded PS2 (brand new).

I burned several games successfully (Dragon Quest, Singstar, Baldurs Gate etc) all with the same media, they all work flawless.

The buzz quiz does not have any dummy files as i see - i used dvd decrypter to copy the dvd and did a verify after all and it was 100% valid.

I burned at only 2x speed.

I cannot use other "high quality" media like verbatine anymore since the newer generations (those with 8x for example) always lead to burning errors using my plextor 708a (the older ones no longer available worked good however - but i didnt have a PS2 back then)

Anyone know what could be the issue with this game ? I do own the buzz big music quiz with the buzzers, and now im tempted to just buy the big quiz game because im f frustrated with the burning result.

First of all no swearing on this forum, please edit it.

My first guess is you may need to rebuild the game, this is after eliminating some possible problems:
1) Media (Ritek DVD-R shouldn't have any problems)
2) Burning speed (2x should work just fine)
3) Laser (if it's brand new I don't see how the laser can be dead already)
4) Modchip (Matrix Infinity boots just about everything)

As I don't own that game I can't say for sure what the problem may be, just thought I'd list some problems that you SHOULDN'T have so other people can give suggestion on other possible problems :)

thanks for the replies !

i doubt that my laser is dirty cause its a brand new ps2 (3month old - not much gaming at all) and i still boot other games fast as ever
