Hi. I am unable to find official firmware from Pioneer's USA website for my dvd burner (DVR-A08XL A1). However, a search found me a firmware update from Pioneer's Austrailia and Europe web sites. I was wondering if it would be bad for me to use either of these firmwares to update my burner?

Try a download search on this web site for your model number.

You should be able to find a number of suitable firmwares for your machine.

Yeah, I have found firmware from your link and other websites, but I was just looking for an official firmware so if anything went wrong, I could tell Pioneer. Thanks anyways.
