I'd be grateful for any help. I am trying to capture a frame using Nero Showtime. I'm doing everything as instructed but nothing happens. When you click capture frame, should something appear to say it has happened? I have looked in the file where captures are supposed to be put and there is nothing there. Showtime works well for everythng else.

I don't see any message when I capture a frame, so you may not either. The capture frame settings have options for capturing to the clipboard, or a file. Be careful if you capture to a file, because it seems to go in a hidden system file if you don't change the defaults. ...\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Ahead.

I would suggest, if you do capture to a file (.bmp), that you change the configuration so it goes in a file easier to reach. Until then, you might do a search for any .bmp extensions on your computer and you might find the ones you already captured.

Just for information, which version of Showtime or Nero 7 are you using? Each one seems to have different quirks.

Thanks for your reply. I have just searched my computer for every bp file and have found no captures. I think its version 6 or 7 - I've had it around 6 months. Any how I'm now going to uninstall and reinstall and see if that does anything, if not - just have a drink!
Thanks for the advice, this is a darn site quicker than Nero who have yet to reply
