Whenever I try to open bittorrent it says: "Windows cannot access the specific device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I have tried uninstalling bittorrent and downloading the newest version again but I get the same error. Whats the deal?

it could be your firewall blocking it, with ZA i chose to kill a program and when you click on that program it will give you that message because ZA blocks it, with my permission ofcourse.

it could be a firewall issue, sometimes it happens by mistake.

Did you read that? If not, please do. Have you ever had that message due to a firewall? I sure have hell havent. Dont think a firewall would say you dont have permssion to activate directories in you comp. Just some common sense.

for godsake svstang.
I dont want to argue, and YES i read that and YES i have gad that.
With Zone Alarms Program Control you choose to kill off certain programs, take for example real player if i choose to kill it with ZA, each time i try and access the thing it will give you that message.
