Hello all, I am haing a problem, and wanted to see if anyone is having this issue, and or could help me. I can get NDS roms to play (some any ways), but 3rd party games that are supposed to use the Built in emulators of the M3 adapter do not work. I tried bonk's adventure, Simcity for the SNES, and when I try and load them, they try to load, and then the top screen goes black on my ds. I of course used the m3 manager to load these 3rd party roms to my sd card, before putting them into the M3player and ds. I have tried new firmware, etc...to no avail, of anyone could help me that would be great, I really want this to work....
PS - I haved also had no luck getting the new super mario brother rom for nds to work, I tried the suggestions of loading it NORMAL, with NO TRIMMING, but I just get a black screen :(

I just reflashed with e21b, same result, 3rd party emulator games such as snes or pce will not work :(....New supermario bros DS will notload either the other 3 ds games I have will...I am starting to think something is wrong with my m3...should I update the pass key 2 again, every time I update the firmware on the M3? I am currently using passkey2 v4 firmware.
Thanks in advance

Mario should be working, what settings are you using for mario?
Also, when you upgraded your M3 firmware you did install the latest gamemanager with it? The previous gamemanager had a bug in it when it came to emulator games, hence the E21b release.

Yes, thats what's kicking me in the pants, I have the E21 firmware, as well as the V21b game manager....is there a way for me to clear the M3 player, so that I can lay down a clean flash? Or any other ideas you have would be great, I'm willing to do anything...I'M DESPERATE, with a large font D.....wow.

I have just read up a bit on the mario game, and you should try using the following settings:
Normal Boot
No Trim ROM
No Software Reset
And as for SNES etc. is it only certain games? I know that SnesDS (what M3 uses) isn't compatible with all games yet.

Hi Mr. Hanky, Yes I read thix information as well, I think the only part I did not try was the no reset, so I will try that. As for emulator games, I reformatted my 2GB card to fat32 as suggested, now the snes emulator runs, but does not work with sim city, as well, I tried bonk3 for the tg16, and the emulator tried to run, but it did not, so I will have ro try some new games and let you know...I hope mario works, I can;t wait to try it.
Thanks
PS - On a totally unrelated note, If you get a chance, watch the movie, WHY WE FIGHT, its propbably one of the most thought provoking, as well as intelligent movies I've seen this year. I may make a gba movie of it, if I do, I will post the link to the bt file.

Euerka!!! It works, The New super mario bros is working, thanks MR Hanky, I had all the options right, except the game rest one I missed that one for some reason, as well, I did reformet my SD card to Fat32 so that may have helped to. Now to just get these emulators working :) but I'm half way there, if yiou have any suggestions for the emulators I would be very greatful, I will try and bunch of roms and see if there us just maybe a compatibilty issue, I did think thaqt bonk3 would play though...

Thats good to hear :-)
I'll try some of my roms, i've never actually used the emualation features of the M3, as my PSP is obviously much better at it.
I'll let you know what/if any roms work.
