can someone please, please, please help me with this. I havent had any joy with my backup. I tried rebuilding the iso, but it was exactly the same as the original iso size. So i burned the rebuild anyway, at 2.4x, but it loads and i get a black screen.

So i burned it at 2x, and i get the same thing. Can someone tell me if they had joy with burning this game? if so, can u tell me what speed and media u used?

If the file sizes are the same after a rebuild, then it doesn't need a rebuild. I'd be willing to bet it needs Zoneloader to work with swap magic. MLB 2k6 needed zoneloader as well.

Not every game over 4 gig comes out smaller. Some games stay the same. I can't remember right off the top of my head which exact few over 4 gig stayed the same but they do exist. I'm assuming that you've never backed up MBL 2k6 with swap magic because you do need Zoneloader (or something I may not know of thats similar). I was just saying maybe Zoneloader would work because MLB2k6 needed it.(same publisher, ect..) I've never touched NHL 2K6, even though I would like it. The only game I've ever had to use Zoneloader was MLB 2K6.

EzyDuzIt, which rebuild method did you use? I personally do the CDVDGen way though Gnie's rebuilder is more simplified.

i use the isobuster + Nero rebuild, as i find that to be the easiest and least hassle. Ive use the genie and cd/dvdgen, but i really cant b bothered 2 use it unless its a last resort. Ill give it a shot now though, as my new rebuild i tried failed again.

I can't answer that as I don't have the game. My MLB 2K6 only had 3 files, maybe they used the same file structure.

Just got it working, i rebuilt using CD/DVD GEN, with Gnies IML2Iso. D'no why, but it works like an absolute charm, the iso size is exactly the same as the others, but this dvd works so well. Cheers 4 all the help :D

Yeah you shouldn't have to rebuild this game. Use Zoneloader with your swap magic disks and the game will play just fine
