Welcome to the forums. Please let us know what version ps2 you have and what way you're trying to boot your backups. From what you said I get that you're booting with Swap Magic 3.8 Coder. I don't have that version but with 3.6 you just swap out your disc and hit X. Give us more info on what the problem is and what your setup is like and maybe someone can help.
