Just as a matter of interest, I was told by a friend recently that by using Peerguardian 2 and not 'sharing' files (allowing uploads) that you would stay off the grid for the anit-P2P groups?. He also suggested using some P2P porgrams like Filetopia which encrypts files that are sent and received so no-one knows what they are.

I have no idea if these thoughts are correct and was wondering if anyone had some experience as I do not know much about P2P and don't do it. Thanks.

The whole point of p2p is to share the files.

Thats how the file sharing comunnity work's, use PG2 whilst connected and you should be fine, it filters out the IP's of known anti p2p companies keeping you safe.

As for Filetopia, I dont trust it, thats just me, for now I will stick with the bigger names.

Download Pg2 here:

yeah I got one. That name kicks azz I love payne lol.
But anyways filetopia isn't as good as demonoid or torrentleech etc.I think that's what rav was speaking of.

if you use peer guardian you won't have to worry about anything or who you download it from except for a few cases.
