I have been backing up my games using Fuji DVD-R and Verbtim DVD-R (not a Made in Japan) I now have Taiyo Yuden DVD-R 8X. Do I need the origianl game to backup again or can I use the backup copy I already have and back it up using the new Taiyo Yuden? I noticed in a couple of my games that are on Fuji, that the game is a little choppy. When playing MVP baseball NCAA, it will pause for about a second or two then continue the game. Not sure if it's the quality of DVD-R or not. My 2K6 baseball does that too.

yes, if the game plays fine then your OK, sometimes even if it doesn't play great it will work because the discs is causing the problems, but all the game info is there and in good shape.
Not sure about the Fuji DVD's but the Verbatims should work fine.
they are good media. I just bough some Taiyo Yuden myself. The only thing i hated about them is that they are a lot more sticky on both sides then a normal Philips that i use. They collect dust like a magnet and it is harder to clean them when everything sticks. But they work well.

excellent! Thanks for the prompt feed back. I was worried I would have to start all over.
