' M3 Adapter SD w/ Passkey2 ' - is this the best out at the moment and does it emulate the Snes, Mega Drive etc well, im really looking forward to playing my old time favourites on a handheld!

SNES and Mega Drive emulation is not that great on the DS *yet*

SNES works well, but has a few games that won't work.
Mega Drive emulators are around, but are not really playable yet.

Other than that all other consoles that are emulated on the DS work almost flawlessly.

I've uesd NES, Master System, Game Gear, Wonderswan, PCE, Gameboy to name a few off the top of my head.

And I consider the M3 one of the best around :-)

I wouldn't say so, the Neo-Flash sticks out very badly from the top of the DS. Though, I've never used one, so it could be worth it.

Also, you might want to find out if the included SD card is 1GigaBIT or 1GigaBYTE, there is a big difference. Flash cards have a habit of choosing 1Gigabit to trick people into thinking they're getting alot of storage - when they're not.

Also, as far as emulation goes, it's about the same for all cards, it's just the emulators havn't evolved enough to be 100% perfect yet.

Though some devices, such as the Supercard have problems running some of the emulators.

Due to the popularity of the M3, some coders of the emulators specifically include extra support for the M3 hardware, which allows the emulators to run even better on it.

1GB should be plenty, don't forget that PSP games are usually 300MB+ where as DS games are only about 32MB each.

I have a 1GB CF card, and it has about 10 DS games on it, 3 large GBA games, lots of homebrew applictaions and the whole of Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children in high quality (which is 300MB alone).

And I think I still have about 50MB remaining.
