Hey wuts up with MGS 3, i burned it and only a lil question mark came up in the corner of the screen after the konami intro when i tried to play it. wen i burnt it there was some kind of exclusive remark that came up but i just ignored it. Is there something i missed? is it double layered? thanx for the support. peace

The question mark signifies a disc read error has occured while the PS2 is trying to load the game, which will probably be explained by the problem message you had (that you chose to ignore) when burning.

It'll need reburnt. Use good media, and burn at 1/2 the disc's maximum burn speed.

tdk is meh its iffy, i wouldnt use it :/ use taiyo yuden works the first time every time ;)I never uses tdk dvds so i cant relate but i know its not the best and the ps2 laser is crap so you gotta use the best. Use a hdd its the bestest, loads are so fast and you dont ruin your laser you dont gotta worry about the laser dieng with taiyo yuden in most cases they run smoother than the original :D

Might be a DVD+R Vs. -R question, because I had the same problem. Originally burned it on +R and suddenly last week, I was getting the same error. I ripped it back to my PC with DVD decrypter(with no errors which shows that the disc wasn't scratched) and burned onto 8x TY -R at 4x's and it works fine with no loading problems
