Hello,

I recently sent my laptop in for repair and when it came back, the OS had been restored and suddenly, I could not burn DVDs. I can still burn CDs, but not DVD-R. I installed three different programs including Nero and SonicNow, but none work, for data and video.

Here is my log. I have spent hours trying to get help but nothing seems to work.

Hi,

Thank you for the post. I couldn't tell what my serial number was but I hope I deleted it. Please let me know.

I actually installed Nero 7 as well after this older version of Nero. Also, the first program I used, CopyToDVD did not work. The same error was given.

My firmware seems current, so I don't know what the problem is. please help. Thank you!
